A newly-launched multidisciplinary journal of Bidhannagar College, Kolkata, titled Intelligentsia, gives out a clarion call for scholarly papers for its debut issue [presently it comes without ISSN, though it will reach us, hopefully, on publication of this volume only] from all the departments of this college, both Science and Humanities.
Journal will be peer-reviewed with two sections, Humanities and Science. Articles communicated to Intelligentsia must follow the format of the journal.
The papers need to be submitted in the following format: 12 pt., Times New Roman, single-spaced with margins above and below and on both the sides. The article must have a clearly-charted Works Cited page, in the following style [MLA stylesheet should be followed by the authors strictly]: For example, 1. Cather, Willa. Title of the Book[in Italics], Place of Publication, Year of Publication. Print
In case of an article published in a journal, the title of the paper should be within the inverted commas, along with the name of the journal in which it has been published. The mention of Vol, ,No. , along with the year of publication and the page numbers are a must.
For example, 1. Fisher, Ronald. Title of the Journal Paper, Journal Name, Volume, No., Pages, Year of Publication.
The articles should be submitted separately in soft as well as hard copies to Dr. Sumana Mukherjee [for Science Section] and Dr.Ketaki Datta [for Humanities Section] within the month of September, 2015.
