There is a Grievance Redressal Cell in the college where students can lodge their grievances. A Grievance Redressal Cell under Teachers’ Council resolves the grievances. An Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has been set up under the Teachers Council for dealing with the complaints filed under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act 2013). The procedure is based on the principles of natural justice. The college has also constituted a Gender Sensitization Committee against sexual harassment.
Students may make complaints / grievances / suggestions (if any) and drop them in the ‘Complaint Box' installed in the college office. Students shall use ‘Grievance Box’ to register grievance if any or can lodge complaint to ‘Grievance Cell’.
The Teachers’ council of the college formed a committee under the Visakha Guidelines to redress the women related issues. Complaint Box is installed as per UGC norms, nearby the Students’ Section Office at first floor of Old Building, according to Visakha Guidelines. A women’s aid cell are being set up in the college complying with the Visakha Guidelines issued by the UGC.
Complaints can be lodge in person to the Convener of the relevant Committee or can be dropped in the Complaint Box located nearby the Students’ Section Office outside the Principal‟s chamber. Any complaints of the students regarding ragging or sexual harassment or academic affairs can be lodged also through online portal for “Grievance Redressal” under the “Forms” menu in the college website.
